Scientists of Spain and the USA develop a sensor able to interpret the human thought at a distance

Spanish and American engineers and neurologists work in the development of a sensor able to interpret remote the human thought, that when settling in a cap or a helmet, as a intelligent clothes, will be able to decode the intentionality of the brain.

According to the Polytechnical University of Cartagena has informed today in an official notice (UPCT), whose group of Neurotecnología, Control and Robotics (Neurocor) collaborate in the project, it is a thought device so that it is applied in people with neurological incapacity, and also in the control of robotised units.

The university professor of the UPCT Juan Crowned Lopez, responsible for the investigation group, explains that the device allows to decode the intentionality of the human through connected noninvasive sensors to the cerebral crust, that is to say, without needing perforating the cranial zone, that can get to interpret basic aspects of the thought with the aid of complex computer science programs.

Thus, according to the example for which east professor alludes, between two people who take installed the sensor in a cap or a helmet, one of them will be able to interpret in advance that the other tries to narrow the hand to him to salute to him.

Between the applications of the project one persecutes the monitoring of people with neurological and old incapacities, as well as the remote control of robotised actions to avoid undesirable accidents.
