They discover a Mayan city in Yucatan

The city was open pie at the beginning of 2008 and after analyzing the material, the archaeologists reached the conclusion that he perhaps is the metropolis oldest of Yucatan.

A group of investigators of the National Institute of Anthropology and History - INAH- of Mexico found Mayan a city located in the town of San Diego de Buenavista, in the call South Cone of Yucatan, has an antiquity of 2,300 years.

The archaeologists say that it is a site of first rank, due to the dimensions of the buildings, the presence at least 20 wakes carved in stone and the abundance of concerned pre-Hispanic ceramics, which makes suppose that it maintained commercial relations with the area of Veracruz and Guatemala.

This city could be but the old one of Yucatan, this in danger to become a gold mine for plunderers, as a result of the disinterestedness who seem to show the local and federal authorities.
