One is one of the great mysteries of the prehistory in Spain, it is the route of more than fifty menhires than they unite a route between the Duero and Cantabria. According to the archaeologists, they could form a route for the trashumantes cattle dealers of but of 4000 years ago.

At the moment, the archaeologists study, to verify this theory, if the 50 monuments are contemporary. At the moment, the first dating, the one of menhir of Cuesta of the Mill (Burgos) have already brought sopresas. The investigators are sorry that dólmenes and menhires, but being archaeological patrimony, have been affected by the construction of Aeolian parks. Many have been saved of miracle and others are, like the one of High Stone (Burgos), surrounded by the mills of the Aeolian park.

The works will continue until knowing if the alignment of these 50 menhires is fruit of the chance or of I devise of our older predecessors. Even so the investigation faces a great obstacle: the little investigation of the Spanish megalitismo. In Spain 500 are known menhires and 10 have been only excavated about.
