The mystery of a cat that returns to lost house after 9 years

A British pair has eeted again with its cat, disappeared nine years before, to less than a kilometer of its home, informed east Wednesday an institution for the prevention into the cruelty against the animal.

Dixie, a cat cinnamon of 15 years, disappeared in 1999 and their owners thought that he had died run over by a car. The cat was found less than a kilometer of its home, in the city of Birmingham, after a resident called to the Real Society for the Prevention of the Cruelty against the Animal (RSPCA, by its abbreviations in English) to denounce that a skinny cat and messed up hair went up to around the area a pair ago of months.

Alan Pittaway, agent of Animal Harvesting of the RSPCA, reviewed the microchip of the feline and confirmed that it was Dixie. The cat was given back to its owners, Alan and Gilly Delaney, in half an hour.

The same behavior

In the 29 years that I take working for RSPCA, never I saw anybody excited and happy so as Mrs. Delaney, detailed Pittaway. To give back to Dixie with its owners it filled my day, added.

The pair was extremely happy for meeting with its cat disappeared after so many years. The personality of Dixie, its behavior and small gestures have not changed for anything, said Gilly Delaney. We think that it has not stopped ronronear since returned to enter by the door, it affirmed.
