The archaeologists are shortage near Murcia (Southeastern) a grave with the greater number of human rest never found in Spain, announced the regional government of Murcia.

The archaeological deposit Way of the Mill, in the municipality of Caravaca de la Cruz, near Murcia, contains at least 1,300 individuals buried around year 2400 a.C and until 1950 a.C.

According to the advisor (regional minister) of Culture and Tourism of Murcia, Pedro Alberto Cross, is the prehistoric deposit of Spain in which greater number of corpses has been.

The excavations have allowed to discover that the inhabitants of this community of this calcolítico deposit, buried during near 400 years to most of their members, breaking with the habitual customs of the time.

The discovery of this deposit will allow to study, for the first time, a complete population of a prehistoric habitat of those dimensions, analyzing the questions related to ages of death, pathologies, diseases, diets and diverse anthropometric characteristics, explain the official notice.
