A group of experts has blamed Charles Darwin of plagiarism by their well-known theory of the evolution.

The scientific world is prepared to commemorate the bicentennial of the author of the Origin of the Species, while a group of critics has ordered to specialized experts of software anti-plagiarism who study the book of Darwin, published in 1859, by the similarities to a published document the previous year by Alfred Russel Wallace, a naturalist who worked during eight years in Indonesia.

In the first indications of the analysis, it is shown that some of the ideas of the book were taken from Wallace, in particular, the one of which the species create variations that helps them to survive and to prosper and these are transmitted their descendants.

This controversy on the credit of the theory, is as old as the evolutionary theory, with the defenders of Darwin alleging that the two were developed with similar ideas but of independent way.

According to James Moore, a biographer and professor of the history of science in the Abierta University, the new claim of plagiarism is a made history.

With software that is using in the study it could detect when a phrase is identical and also the signs of an author style who this being copied.

One hopes that the conclusions appear in Julio of the 2009 in the Association International of Forensic Linguists of Amsterdam.
