They find a coffin in Jerusalem

In excavations near the fence of security to the north of Jerusalem, a fragment of a coffin that dates from the period of the Second Temple, with the inscription was shortage: Horseradish tree HaCohen HaGadol.  The excavations were lead by the unit of archaeology of the Civilian administration in Judea and Samaria, under the direction of Naftali Aizik and Biniamín Hareven. 

During the excavation, buildings were discovered public and agricultural civilians, as well as establishments, swimming pools and cisterns, all of the period between the destruction of the Second Temple and the beginning of the Islamic period. 

In the site properties of high priests were discovered who served in the Temple in Jerusalem.  The experts responsible for the finding affirmed that the Great Priest was the most important figure in the Temple, especially during Iom Kipur.
