Today we bring the real history to them that inspired the famous film of the exorcist. The 20 of August of 1949, William Peter Blatty, a student of the University of Georgetown published an impressive article in Washington Post. This article inspected a brief troop of an assumption happened case of demonic possession in Mount Rainer, Maryland. The owned one was a boy of 14 years called Robbie Mannheim.

Robbie was a normal boy that it lived with his family in Bunker Hill Road, Mount Rainer, according to Thomas B. Allen, author of the Possessed book published in 1993. During the ritual they appeared cardinals and signals with the words hell and resentment. Robbie also escupía in the faces of the presents, realised obscene movements, it insulted the priests and it tried to draw its attention constantly with provocations on sexual relations enters you cure and nuns. Sometimes it even pronounced phrases in Latin, a language that did not know and that never had studied.

Robbie returned to its native city they committed where it in a safe mental residence for him; it was in this place where the Sunday of Passover a new exorcism was realised and where possibly the brutales facts took place. In order to separate the real history of Robbie, he made that the protagonist of the book was a girl of 12 years.
