The fourth pyramid of Giza

There are the news that surprise, in that is inevitable to ask itself like possible that still certain things in places so studied and visited are discovered, is even exploded by the tourism. This it is the following case, in which an international group of archaeologists is shortage the old ruins of the lost pyramid, located in the Valley of Giza near Keops, Kefrén and Micerinos. One was an erected structure in time of Dyedefra Pharaoh, son and heir of Keops (2,556 a.C.), with much more height than his located brothers to borders of the Nile.

This enigmatic construction was placed in Abu Rawash, to little kilometers of Cairo and weighs q that during years thought that it had not been finished constructing, the recent discovery affirms quite the opposite. This pyramid was highest and its stone was of better quality. Their stones were used during centuries to construct in Cairo, indicates Zahi Hawass, Secretary General of Egyptian the Supreme Council of Antiques.

Concretely, the pyramid measured almost 154 meters, a little more seven meters with respect to the one of Keops. Each one of the faces, in their base, measured 122 meters and the rake was of 64 degrees. Now, the rest of the pyramid raise only 10 meters of the ground in a militarized zone of restricted access and according to it seems, this construction never was connected with the rest.
