The NASA thinks that the Mars methane presence can demonstrate the existence of microorganisms

The scientists of the NASA think that the methane presence detected in the Mars surface is only explained by the presence of life under the surface of the planet. The NASA presented/displayed these conclusions in a press conference with a group of experts headed by Michael Meyer, main scientist of the NASA for the Program of Exploration of Mars, in Sede of the NASA in Washington.

The methane has been detected in the Mars surface by telescopes based on earth, as well as by the spaceships in the Mars orbit . The gas has been detected in the same regions where aqueous vapour clouds exist, an essential element for the presence of the planetary life. The methane presence could be originated by the volcanic activity, but there are no active Mars volcanos . Since the volcanic activity cannot justify the presence of the gas, considered like a biomarcador of the essential life considering that the photochemical life of the Mars methane is very short (about 300 days). It is very probable that the methane in its atmosphere has been produced recently, and most probable is than the gas is being emitted as metanógenos called products of remainder by organisms that live in the underground water under the ice of the Martian surface.

Although the methane presence in the Martian atmosphere is not the definitive test of the life finding is the indicating major of its probable presence. The certain thing is that little by little the NASA offers revealing information to us than serious one of the great news of this century more and more
