Diamond rain in the Age of Ice

The geophysicist Alan West creates to have found the solution to an old geologic mystery. In some zones of the USA are diamonds and gold, but there are no mines that justify their presence. However about thousands of kilometers to the north, in Canada, there are numerous mines of these minerals.

The displacement of these materials could be due to the impact of a comet, of about five kilometers of diameter, that I explode on Canada, killing to all the alive beings of the region. The disappearance of several species as mamuts and mastodons could be another one of the consequences of the cosmic impact, as well as the disappearance of the Clovis culture. The impact also could influence in the circulation of the sea currents, bringing about the end of the glacial time.

From our present mentality, to think about a rain of diamonds and dust gold can seem something next to the paradise, or at least to the gift of a genius of the bottle, but 12900 years ago it was a reality according to Alan West.
