Naica, the cave of giant crystals in Mexico

Buried 300 meters underneath the mountain of Naica in the Desert of Chihuahua, the cave of giant crystals was open pie by two miners who excavated a new tunnel. The cave contains some of greater natural crystals rarely found; translucent plaster gets to measure up to 11 meters in length and grief up to 55 tons.

The crystals were close created because they were submerged in rich mineral water with a very close rank of temperature, - of 58 degrees Celsius. In this temperature the mineral anhydrite, which was abundant in the water, dissolved in plaster, that during million years these impressive crystals in the cave of Naica were forming.

There is no another place in the planet where the mineral world is revealed with such beauty, the Sistine Chapel call of crystals is a unique case and that by his peculiar characteristics of formation they make of this cave an incredibly beautiful place.
