NEMO 100 takes tourists to know the mysteries the ocean floor

The lovers of the mysteries that the world of the sea lodges are of enhorabuena, already tell on a new tourist concept done their measurement. Yesterday, the German company Turíst released the submarine “U-Boot Nemo 100” in the lake Halensee de Frankfurt, offering the first trip to the exclusive ocean floor for tourists.

The manufacturer of this transport, Thomas Breining, commented that the apparatus has three crystal cupolas that will guarantee the vision of the passengers occupy who it. In addition, its technology will allow its permanence of up to seventy hours under the water and to dive to 50 meters of the surface.

The submarine has a length near the four meters and a meter eighty of width. It works with two electrical motors able to submerge towards the depths to two occupants, a driver and to the brave tourist.

According to the calculations of the manufacturing company, the construction of Nemo 100 went up to around the 180,000 Euros. In addition five were the designers involved in the project. Also, the ones in charge of this initiative considered numerous situations and eventualities that can face the device while it is submerged like a possible energy loss or of oxygen. In order to resist this, the submarine has been equipped with suits of divings and exits of emergencia.

It is hoped that within two weeks a trial run is realised more to verify its operation in the Boltenhagen lake, near the Baltic Sea. Of this form, the trips to the ocean floor could be implemented as of the boreal spring of the 2009.
